TO MY VALENTINE

Streets full of colors, cafés and pubs filled with youngsters, gifts and gift wrappers everywhere, pink cheeks and arresting smile on faces, red and white pills in hand. Man, what a color full day it is?!?!?! Was admiring and analyzing things around me.
Ding dong….rang the bell. Yes, how may I help you? Mam, these flowers are for you, I am in need of your signature for confirmation. I signed, and the delivery man left.
Wow!!!! You must have seen those flowers, amazing!! It had a note attached to it. It said:
Hi dear,
Wish you a happy valentine’s day….
ti di di dic, ti di di dic, ti di di dic, I was persistently hearing a noise in distance, what could it be?!?!? Never mind, I continued with the note and finished reading it. The noise came again and again. So, I heeded towards it, this time it was so clear, the sound stopped all of a sudden.
I was keen to know what it was with my eyes wide open. The sound was from a clock, with its small hand pointing 6 and big hand pointing 12.This time I can see no colorful streets, no gifts and no cafés. I was able to see a bed in the center of the room; cupboards adhered towards the walls on either side, with a mirror attached to it, windows on two sides with beautiful curtains on it, and a calendar with yesterday’s date - 13th Feb 2010. Yes, it is my bedroom.
I got up from my bed, brushed my teeth, had my bath, dressed up and before drinking a glass of milk, I took a piece of paper and wrote:
“My dear mom,
Happy Valentine’s Day. I need no attestation to prove your love for me.
With love,Saranya.”
To make a special mention, the note said:
“Hi dear,
Wish you a happy Valentine’s Day.
With loads and tons of love,  Mom.”

Utilize all the available opportunities to shower your love for your loved ones. Try not restrict your love to a single day, especially with our mothers. As they hold the top most priority in ones life.

HEAD LINES: - NEWSPAPERS; A PAGE 3 MAGAZINE

It's 62 years of INDEPENDENCE and we still stoop ourselves for those who sacrificed themselves. All  the credits go to those pens and swords that fought for it. Since a long time, it’s the pen that has made remarkable changes in the history. The works of சுப்பிரமணிய பாரதி (Subramanya Bharathi) & பாரதிதாசன் (Bharathidasan) are said to be mightier than swords. In the modern era, the word pen represents press/news papers. It is the duty of news papers to produce information of quality regarding the world’s happenings.News papers were invented in early 17th century. Since then writers have been working on the improvisation of papers. Finally came a set pattern a main page, a supplementary, opportunities, property plus, science and technology, etc. This culture has been followed for a long time. Our expectations and demand over pens grew day-by-day. Unfortunately, there are only few news papers who still maintain their quality. Readers’ expectations are getting deteriorated day-by-day. The language, grammar and contents of papers are diluted. Anywhere and every ware we turn it is information regarding celebrities, parties, discotheque and pubs. What made things change all of a sudden? Where are we heading to? News papers are changing in to page -3 magazines. Will we get back to square one?

A CHOTISI KAHANI – ORTHODOXY MEIN:

Kahani……
I grew up listening to these; we Indians are known for our culture, Hinduism is the third largest religion in the world, we Hindus are known for our orthodoxy,…….
Every time I hear this word, there rings a bell in me. I always wanted to know more to quench my thirst. Started exploring regarding the same and found many astounding facts:
Here comes, kahani mein twist - we Hindus are not known for orthodoxy (as per various sites in the web).
This time it was not just the bell; it was the bell and the bulb.
Why not I post my findings? What an idea sir ji!!!!!!!
There are few ideas in Hinduism that fulfill the notion of orthodoxy. But the religion as a whole is not orthodox driven. Only certain sects within Hinduism are enshrined with orthodoxy. We cannot call a religion as orthodox while some groups within it are not required to comply to the principles.

Ab bari hai climax ka,
                Orthodox Cross
If not Hinduism then which is the religion that is known for orthodoxy? It’s Christianity.
The word orthodox, from Greek orthodoxos "having the right opinion", from orthos ("right", "true", "straight") + doxa ("opinion" or "praise", related to dokein, "to think"), is typically used to mean adhering to the accepted or traditional and established faith, especially in religion.
The term did not conventionally exist with any degree of formality (in the sense in which it is now used) prior to the advent of Christianity in the Greek-speaking world, though the word does occasionally show up in ancient literature in other, somewhat similar contexts.

CHAPLIN

Is it “the movie” or “Sir Charles Spencer Chaplin” himself?
Chaplin is a 1992 British biographical film about Charlie Chaplin. Astounding! This movie blends perfectly like Bond's drink:

3 measures of Gordon's gin (acting)
1 measure of vodka (screen play)
½ measure of Kina Lillet (story)

Shake until ice cold and serve in a deep champagne goblet with a large thin slice of lemon peel (more of dedication).

Sir Charles Chaplin                       Robert Downey Jr. as Chaplin

What do I discuss about? Is it the life history of Sir Chaplin
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie_Chaplin), he who made us laugh didnt smile throughout his life, or is it the acting of Robert Downey Jr. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaplin_%28film%29).

It’s like my own personal brand of heroin. i can see the withdrawal symptoms... why did the movie end?

THE END?!?!?!?!

MOTHER INDIA – KNOW MORE

Q: Who wrote JANAGANA MANA?A: Ummmm….. Well!!!!!!Q: What is WAGA BORDER?A: Is it a new sari design?Q: Who acted in the movie Khakha khakha?A: Its Surya, Jo @ Jyothika before their wedding, directed by Goutham Menon, music by Harris Jeyaraj &……..It’s high time I stop my questions….Where are we heading people? Not knowing about our history! They are no past, they are no mystery, and they are not just history. They were OUR FUTURE. Are you in need of a quiz, an exam, a movie, marks/grades….?!?!?!?! Knowing about YOUR mother land needs no motivation (not even self motivation), IT IS “THE DUTY OF EVERY CIVILIZED CITIZEN” to know about his mother, mother hood, her culture, her heritage, her divinity, her literatures, almost everything.Even though India is a country of various religions and caste our culture tells us just one thing 'phir bhi dil hai Hindustani '.  Remember, you were in your mother’s womb for just 9 months. Since that time till death, perhaps even after that, it’s your MOTHER LAND who has been carrying you. Know your MOTHER LAND more than you know your mother.JAI HIND….
