THERE IS NOTHING SMALL OR BIG WHEN IT COMES TO HELPING OTHERS.

I prefer actions, solutions and not just discussions with no results.

Trafficking of gold, drugs, machineries, etc. is all we are aware of. What we generally miss and forget is, trafficking of girls, dames and women.

People, let’s gear up and let’s open up.

There are thousands of women sold to the red light areas, by their own folks – husbands, brothers, fathers, mothers, relatives and friends. Now, where is TRUST?

There are hundreds of dames being raped in this world. Where is Freedom?

And many girls of age 3 and 4 are being raped and killed. Where on Earth is Hope?

We can do nothing about these masked animals who are involved in modern slavery or the accidents that happened with these victims. But, we can help them.

Let us not isolate these folks who are one amongst us. These sisters are forced to become what they are and forced in to such situations. There is no pleasure they enjoy but for pain, disease like STD’s and isolation from the society. Their mortality rate is high.

Guy’s just think for a while: Don’t you feel that they will be in need of a family like we have? Live a normal life like ours? Yes, they do.

Then why feel that they should not be with us in our house, their children should not study with our children? We accept all high level and upper class prostitutions of big shots and not these pitiable human beings with blood and soul!!!

Their ONE & ONLY HOPE left in this world is 'US' . Let us help them directly or indirectly.

Have a look at this page (http://www.prajwalaindia.com/home.html) and this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jeOumyTMCI8&feature=share). Do what-ever you can.

Stop talking and start doing. Let's not include other punctuations but for a full-stop.

IT’S “U.S”:

Vast area of land and moving population makes the country all the more beautiful. It’s green everywhere with leaves changing colors, all credits to the climate; no sweat no humidity no head ache. They have three different GST’s due to the large coverage.

There are large parking areas that prevent us from waiting. No queues and no horning. In fact horning will insult people here.

WOW!!!! I just love to spend my time in malls and shopping complex. What a wide range of collections. Wish I can buy them all in just a single swipe. Why don’t we have such a wide range of collections back in India? Are we out of people who buy? Or maybe because there are people like me who are neither trendy nor traditional or both! can’t figure out which side to step in.

The fact is, it’s good that I don’t have too many options, else I will suffer from selectionomania (discovered by me), not knowing what to choose amongst the lots. Either I must be filthy rich to afford everything I want or I must be a popper. Being in U.S I have mastered my 45/47 tables ($ -->Rs.).

Always look for a tag called CLEARENCE, a product billed $100 will be sold for $20~ in the same shop in another section. People buying things giving the original rates are!!!!!!

People here are no proper citizens. All are settlers.  You can see their flags in every single house either appended on to the wall or hoisted in their longue, even half length.  You can even see flags on t-shirts. Where do we stand in front of them? To know the reply "you must click this link".

They speak a different language called ENGLISH. This language is exempted with various words, like we need to replace ‘without’ with ‘no’ e.g. they will not understand if we say ‘without sugar’ rather say ‘no sure’ and replace alphabet ‘o’ for number ‘0’ this list goes on and on. Everyone here is friendly and helpful. Their cultural habits differ from one city to the other.

There is this life style I have observed; children live separately once they are 18yrs. From then, they need to take care of their own expenses and further education. Infact a part of an individual’s salary is being saved by the company for Old Age, Survivors, Disability, and Health Insurance (Oasdhi)  just like they do it for PF.

You can see all varieties of cars here. Even the one with “no” living has a car. They always leave way for others, a much disciplined traffic sense. People here can’t survive without a vehicle of their own. You can’t trust the public mode of transportation, at times even the Google maps can't be trusted. If you are lost, there will be no pedestrian, no auto wallas, no rickshaw wallas to whom you can always enquire. We will realize their importance then.

People mind their own business; they lead an independent lifestyle called ANY BODY WITH ANY BODY. No botheration, no back bites. Their life is full of options.  No ‘Ifs and BUTs”. Everything is simple and easy. A care-free life.

BUT, if you look at their mortality rate a majority of them will die out of a common disease called LONLINESS. No PF or gratuity can accompany them.

INDIANS can be here for 5 or 10 may be 15 years max and not more than that. It is a place to enjoy; maybe we can spend our early adult hood here. Even though you want to settle here, our heart will seek the LOVE of our parents, siblings, grandparents and neighbors.

Our heart will be in want of mental peace.

A MATHEMATICAL CONFESSION:

Ok, here I go… Terrified... mortified... petrified... stupefied… by myself.
  • I confess for doing injustice to my people, my country folks.
  • I confess for being a movieholic.
  • I confess for not being a lover of math.
  • I confess for not knowing about our great legends.
I confess and confess and confess….Basically I am a science student and a lover of my subject especially biology, human anatomy, physiology and nutrition. I never ever used to show a bit of interest in math. Watching the movie A BEAUTIFUL MIND made me curious to know about John Forbes Nash Jr. a Nobel award winner. Trust me, till then I never knew the existence of him. I wanted to write a blog on him and his works. So was surfing online for the same and wanted to get few inputs from my husband.R: He just gave a piece of titter and said am happy as you came to know about him as well wanted to know more. But tell me, what is it that you know about SRINIVASA RAMANUJAM?S: Well, he was and still is a great mathematicianR: and????S: He is from IndiaR: and???S: He is BrahminR: and??? Ok, now you know that John Nash is a Nobel winner.S: Very much yes.R: So, can you please tell me if Sir RAMANUJAM was awarded a Nobel Prize or not?S: Well he is spoken till date for his achievements and none of them are able to complete his incomplete theorems as he passed away. So, he “must have been rewarded”.R: Is it!!!! Why don’t you do some home work on Sir RAMANUJAM before going Dr. Nash, will you?S: certainly.R: Good. (He left)I was surfing online. To my surprise, I found few astounding facts.
  1. He had no formal training in PURE MATHEMATICS.
  2. He was “A MAN WHO KNEW INFINITY”.
  3. Within his lifetime (32 yrs) he had independently completed nearly 3900results.
  4. Sir RAMANUJAM never got a Nobel Prize.
Shocking of all,  5.       There is no Nobel Prize given for MATHEMATICS.  (know why?)Gosh!!! May be, I would have known this if someone would have depicted his life history just like Dr. Nash’s.Thanks to my husband - a lover of math.

PHEW!!!!!!

Ah!!!!!, What a pleasure it is to stare at the streets, the cars, the bikes, and people walking. With no thoughts playing in our mind but watch the kids play (especially during summer holls)…

Same way I was indulged watching things happening around me. I was enjoying bits and pieces of it.

"Sometimes we relish, at times we abhor, we are happy, we are sad, we laugh/smile, we cry and what not we do? Wow! What a beautiful life is it?"

Suddenly, I can see the liveliness and the life around me getting disturbed. I can see buildings fall, tremors and cracks on the earth’s crust, people running and screaming. At a distance, I saw my family members asking me to come out of the house at once. I stood still with a blank face and mind, motionless, not knowing what to do until I felt a hand pulling me out of the building. I saw my house – my ‘home’ getting shattered in front of my eyes.

Everything I adored a few minutes back was ruined. Many were injured and some dead, people crying here and there for having lost their child or parent(s), those who were rich a minute ago are now a popper - waiting for funds from the government. Happy to know at least the rest of the world stands still to provide funds for us and nothing like the movie“2012” had happened.

A life without home, food, clothes, relatives, friends and money, I prefer dying for an orphan's life.

“Sometimes we relish, at times we abhor, we are happy, we are sad, we laugh/smile, we cry and what not we do? What a life is it?”
Everyone in their life time would have thought about few facts with no reply, why are we born? Why are things happening this way? Why do we laugh? Cry? Fight? Why are we after money? What is money? Why are people after it, after all everything is man’s discovery? Who is God? What is a gravitational force (not in need of the definition)? Why there is something called a galaxy, universe? What is it to do with a black hole? Will our earth become a black hole? What will happen to mankind? Why should we give birth to the new ones when we know earth will get destroyed? WHY, WHY & WHY????

People I hope you have seen the movie 2012, if not I advise you to “not to watch it” else the impact will be just like mine or may be worse. You will suffer from insomnia.

End of the day I want a FERRARI, others want a BMW/PORSCHE/ BENZ, etc.

“God, why US (mankind) - Always???”

WHAT, A WOMAN? Or WHAT A WOMEN!!!!!

Only a few women out of the lots reach the sky. One amongst the few is Lathika Charan for she ‘is’ the first lady Director General of Police in Tamil Nadu and second lady DGP in India. I am very much proud of her, being a woman I know what all hard ships one has to face in her life to become carrier oriented. What if she was asked by her husband or children or family members to not to go for work?!?!? She would have been like other talented women in this society not holding guns but ladles.Hats-off to her and her family. How many women are blessed with such an understanding family? To begin with, there exist parents who think what is it a girl child has to do by studying as she is going to go and cook in her in-laws place. Rather get her married so that a burden will get reduced. Secondly, before marriage there are few who want their wife/DIL to be well qualified, educated, etc and ask her to quit or to not to go for a job after getting married (marriages are subjected to family risks, conditions applied). If she works after marriage, as soon as she has a baby she will have to quit her job. The emotional, sexual, and psychological stereotyping of females begins when the doctor says, "It's a girl." Though everyone finds women in almost all fields they still remain a step back. Indian UNICEF’s statistics  (click here)show the status of women in this society which is as always bad, yes of course not worse.Women, as a human being have their rights to dream and also live for it. WOMEN BELONG IN THE HOUSE... AND THE SENATE.

WHY ME!!! – ALWAYS???

It’s a chromosome glitch; har insaan mein genetic code hotha hai, chromosome ACGT ko milakar har shareer mein theen million codes hothe hai. Kabhi kabhi, yeah genetic mutation ke waje se in theen million me se kisi ek code mein T ki jagah agar galathi se C-leletha hai tho usse auro kehte hai.(from the movie PAA)

It’s always better to think how many auro’s are there around us before we ask “God, Why me?” when we have a good life. A life of freedom, where we get to eat good food, good clothes, pure water, bungalow for living, family for moral support, health to lead life, education for successful carrier, friends for eternity. Which, many out there are lacking.

Life is destined. For those believe in God trust in destiny else trust in yourself. All our problems are zilch in front of those who are physically & mentally challenged.

It’s always better to thank God for what he has given us rather ask Why me –Always? When you are struggling in life.

Arthur ashe, a great successful tennis player was once asked if he had ever asked “God, Why me?” as he was affected with HIV virus due to blood transfussion. For which his reply was, when I got so many awards playing tennis I never asked “God, Why me?” Why should I, now?

“If I were to say, "God, why me?" about the bad things, then I should have said, "God, why me?" about the good things that happened in my life.”
- Arthur ashe

If you stop struggling, then you stop living. Stop asking “Why me?”

TO MY VALENTINE

Streets full of colors, cafés and pubs filled with youngsters, gifts and gift wrappers everywhere, pink cheeks and arresting smile on faces, red and white pills in hand. Man, what a color full day it is?!?!?! Was admiring and analyzing things around me.
Ding dong….rang the bell. Yes, how may I help you? Mam, these flowers are for you, I am in need of your signature for confirmation. I signed, and the delivery man left.
Wow!!!! You must have seen those flowers, amazing!! It had a note attached to it. It said:
Hi dear,
Wish you a happy valentine’s day….
ti di di dic, ti di di dic, ti di di dic, I was persistently hearing a noise in distance, what could it be?!?!? Never mind, I continued with the note and finished reading it. The noise came again and again. So, I heeded towards it, this time it was so clear, the sound stopped all of a sudden.
I was keen to know what it was with my eyes wide open. The sound was from a clock, with its small hand pointing 6 and big hand pointing 12.This time I can see no colorful streets, no gifts and no cafés. I was able to see a bed in the center of the room; cupboards adhered towards the walls on either side, with a mirror attached to it, windows on two sides with beautiful curtains on it, and a calendar with yesterday’s date - 13th Feb 2010. Yes, it is my bedroom.
I got up from my bed, brushed my teeth, had my bath, dressed up and before drinking a glass of milk, I took a piece of paper and wrote:
“My dear mom,
Happy Valentine’s Day. I need no attestation to prove your love for me.
With love,Saranya.”
To make a special mention, the note said:
“Hi dear,
Wish you a happy Valentine’s Day.
With loads and tons of love,  Mom.”

Utilize all the available opportunities to shower your love for your loved ones. Try not restrict your love to a single day, especially with our mothers. As they hold the top most priority in ones life.

HEAD LINES: - NEWSPAPERS; A PAGE 3 MAGAZINE

It's 62 years of INDEPENDENCE and we still stoop ourselves for those who sacrificed themselves. All  the credits go to those pens and swords that fought for it. Since a long time, it’s the pen that has made remarkable changes in the history. The works of சுப்பிரமணிய பாரதி (Subramanya Bharathi) & பாரதிதாசன் (Bharathidasan) are said to be mightier than swords. In the modern era, the word pen represents press/news papers. It is the duty of news papers to produce information of quality regarding the world’s happenings.News papers were invented in early 17th century. Since then writers have been working on the improvisation of papers. Finally came a set pattern a main page, a supplementary, opportunities, property plus, science and technology, etc. This culture has been followed for a long time. Our expectations and demand over pens grew day-by-day. Unfortunately, there are only few news papers who still maintain their quality. Readers’ expectations are getting deteriorated day-by-day. The language, grammar and contents of papers are diluted. Anywhere and every ware we turn it is information regarding celebrities, parties, discotheque and pubs. What made things change all of a sudden? Where are we heading to? News papers are changing in to page -3 magazines. Will we get back to square one?

A CHOTISI KAHANI – ORTHODOXY MEIN:

Kahani……
I grew up listening to these; we Indians are known for our culture, Hinduism is the third largest religion in the world, we Hindus are known for our orthodoxy,…….
Every time I hear this word, there rings a bell in me. I always wanted to know more to quench my thirst. Started exploring regarding the same and found many astounding facts:
Here comes, kahani mein twist - we Hindus are not known for orthodoxy (as per various sites in the web).
This time it was not just the bell; it was the bell and the bulb.
Why not I post my findings? What an idea sir ji!!!!!!!
There are few ideas in Hinduism that fulfill the notion of orthodoxy. But the religion as a whole is not orthodox driven. Only certain sects within Hinduism are enshrined with orthodoxy. We cannot call a religion as orthodox while some groups within it are not required to comply to the principles.

Ab bari hai climax ka,
                Orthodox Cross
If not Hinduism then which is the religion that is known for orthodoxy? It’s Christianity.
The word orthodox, from Greek orthodoxos "having the right opinion", from orthos ("right", "true", "straight") + doxa ("opinion" or "praise", related to dokein, "to think"), is typically used to mean adhering to the accepted or traditional and established faith, especially in religion.
The term did not conventionally exist with any degree of formality (in the sense in which it is now used) prior to the advent of Christianity in the Greek-speaking world, though the word does occasionally show up in ancient literature in other, somewhat similar contexts.
KAHANI KATHAM…

CHAPLIN

Is it “the movie” or “Sir Charles Spencer Chaplin” himself?
Chaplin is a 1992 British biographical film about Charlie Chaplin. Astounding! This movie blends perfectly like Bond's drink:

3 measures of Gordon's gin (acting)
1 measure of vodka (screen play)
½ measure of Kina Lillet (story)

Shake until ice cold and serve in a deep champagne goblet with a large thin slice of lemon peel (more of dedication).

Sir Charles Chaplin                       Robert Downey Jr. as Chaplin

What do I discuss about? Is it the life history of Sir Chaplin
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie_Chaplin), he who made us laugh didnt smile throughout his life, or is it the acting of Robert Downey Jr. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chaplin_%28film%29).

It’s like my own personal brand of heroin. i can see the withdrawal symptoms... why did the movie end?

THE END?!?!?!?!

MOTHER INDIA – KNOW MORE

Q: Who wrote JANAGANA MANA?A: Ummmm….. Well!!!!!!Q: What is WAGA BORDER?A: Is it a new sari design?Q: Who acted in the movie Khakha khakha?A: Its Surya, Jo @ Jyothika before their wedding, directed by Goutham Menon, music by Harris Jeyaraj &……..It’s high time I stop my questions….Where are we heading people? Not knowing about our history! They are no past, they are no mystery, and they are not just history. They were OUR FUTURE. Are you in need of a quiz, an exam, a movie, marks/grades….?!?!?!?! Knowing about YOUR mother land needs no motivation (not even self motivation), IT IS “THE DUTY OF EVERY CIVILIZED CITIZEN” to know about his mother, mother hood, her culture, her heritage, her divinity, her literatures, almost everything.Even though India is a country of various religions and caste our culture tells us just one thing 'phir bhi dil hai Hindustani '.  Remember, you were in your mother’s womb for just 9 months. Since that time till death, perhaps even after that, it’s your MOTHER LAND who has been carrying you. Know your MOTHER LAND more than you know your mother.JAI HIND….
